Create your account on the page https://createaccount.luiss.it/. Two hours after activating your Luiss email account, you can set up your Keyless account to access Luiss Learn, the platform where you will find all the materials and details about Freshers’ Week!
The activities are mandatory and will take place at the Viale Romania campus every morning from Monday 2 September to Friday 6 September. Participation will result in the acquisition of 2 CFUs (as provided in the curriculum for Learning Innovation Activities).

MONDAY 2 SEPTEMBER
PROGRAM WELCOME TALK AND MEET THE FACULTY
Join us for a Plenary Session where you will meet Professor Mark Thatcher, the Director of the Degree Program, supported by Dr Sveva Morgigni (Program Manager) and Dr Fabiana Bottani, Project Manager at Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (Luiss Alumni), who will present the Degree Course covering its contents and career opportunities.
It will also be an opportunity to meet Professors Maria Rita Testa and Anna Pirri Valentini, members of the Faculty of the Study Course who will present their approach to teaching and their research.
MEET YOUR TUTOR
Meet with the tutor for your Degree Course to receive useful guidance on navigating the academic year, along with an overview of how the University works and what to expect from university life.
CAREER GUIDANCE SEMINAR
A HR professional from Oxfam will lead the seminar on how to create a well-crafted CV, sharing useful tips and advice for effectively entering the workforce.

LABORATORY ACTIVITY
This workshop focuses on one of our University’s core themes: sustainability in both environmental and social contexts.
On Tuesday 3 September, Professor Maria Rita Testa, supported by Dr Nada Machlah (Teaching Assistant), will present the theoretical framework of the topic.
Dr Sabina Nicolella from Fondazione Ecosistemi will present a concrete problem on which students, divided into groups, will work on Wednesday 4 September and Thursday 5 September.

Skills Development
The Skills Development Office organises various projects, workshops, and activities throughout the year. The staff is available to provide information on:
- Soft Skills Courses: Credit-bearing pathways reserved for undergraduate students designed to develop their soft skills;
- Academic Gym: Optional, experiential workshops designed to strengthen students’ soft skills;
- VolontariaMENTE: Practical and challenging volunteer activities organised with external associations and partners both in Rome and across the country;
- Cultural Activities: Including guided tours organised in the different University sites with students acting as ‘Ciceroni’ and the theatre workshop.

Luiss Digital Tools
At the IT Support Offices in Viale Romania and Viale Pola, the ‘Guide to Luiss Digital Tools’ desk will be available. You can receive support for configuring Luiss institutional accounts (Keyless, email, and app) and get technical assistance on using all digital teaching tools (Webex, Web Self Service, class schedule consultation, booking systems for access to Luiss spaces and services).

The EDU Office provides information on the Luiss educational model and offers guidance on the GAP Activities to be followed in asynchronous mode as part of the curriculum.
E-Learning
The E-Learning team is available to provide information on the Luiss Learn digital education platform.
ENGAGE.EU
The staff present at the desk will help you discover the ENGAGE.EU network, including the mobility opportunities and various projects organised by the Alliance.
Buddy Program
At their dedicated desk, the Buddies will introduce themselves to the freshmen and provide an overview of the orientation and support activities they oversee, to which students can turn throughout the academic year.
IDO
The desk managed by the International Development Office will promote awareness of exchange and international mobility programs, including: Double Degrees and Structured Partnerships, LLMs (Master of Laws), QTEM (Quantitative Techniques for Economics & Management), BI-Luiss Joint MSs in Marketing.

Library staff are available to provide guidance on resources and services:
- Available print and electronic collections (textbooks, monographs, periodicals, and databases);
- The online catalogue and how to access electronic resources both in-house and remotely;
- Services available (reference, lending, and bibliographic assistance);

- Additionally, inclusion services will be available to facilitate access to resources, services, and spaces.
