To participate in the meetings and activities of Freshers’ Week, you need to have activated your Luiss account.
Create your account at https://createaccount.luiss.it/. Two hours after activating your Luiss email account, you can set up your Keyless account to access Luiss Learn, the platform where you will find all the materials and details about Freshers’ Week!
The activities are mandatory and will take place at the Viale Romania Campus every morning from Monday, September 2nd to Friday, September 6th. Participation will earn you 2 CFU (credits) as provided by the study plan for Learning Innovation Activities.
On the Luiss Learn page dedicated to your Course of Study, you will be able to view the complete program and the schedule of each activity.
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 2
PROGRAM WELCOME TALK AND MEET THE FACULTY
The Director of the Degree Course, Prof. Fabian Homberg, supported by Dr. Luigi Nasta (Program Manager) and Dr. Lavinia Soldati, Manager at KPMG Italy – Forensic Services (Alumna), will present the Degree Course, detailing its contents and career opportunities. This will also be an opportunity to meet Prof. Giuseppe Colangelo, Prof. Luigi Marengo, and Prof. Lucia Pierini, faculty members of the Course, who will present their work and the teaching approach of the Study Course.
MEETING WITH THE TUTOR
A meeting with the tutor for the Degree Course where useful guidance for the academic year will be provided, along with an overview of how the University operates and campus life.
CAREER GUIDANCE SEMINAR
A HR professional from KPMG will lead a CVClinic seminar on how to create a well-crafted CV, sharing useful tips and advice for effectively entering the workforce.
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3 TO FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 6
LABORATORY ACTIVITY
A workshop focused on one of our University’s founding themes: sustainability, both environmental and social.
On Tuesday, September 3, Prof. Fabian Homberg, assisted by Dr. Luigi Nasta (Teaching Assistant) and Dr. Prem Mengwhar (Teaching Assistant), will present the theoretical framework of the topic.
A representative from Peroni will present a concrete problem on which students, divided into groups, will work on Wednesday 4 September and Thursday 5 September.
On the final day of the workshop on Friday 6 September, students will present their proposals.

Skills Development
The Skills Development Office organizes various projects, workshops, and activities throughout the year. The staff is available to provide information on:
- Soft Skills Courses: Credit-bearing courses reserved for Undergraduate students, designed to develop their transversal skills.
- Academic Gym: Optional and experiential workshops aimed at strengthening transversal skills.
- VolontariaMENTE: Practical and challenging volunteer activities organized with associations and external partners both in Rome and nationwide.
- Cultural Activities: Including guided tours organized at the University’s various locations, where students act as guides, and the theater workshop.

Luiss Digital Tools – IT Support at Viale Romania and Viale Pola
At the IT Support offices in Viale Romania and Viale Pola, the ‘Guide to Luiss Digital Tools’ desk will be available to help with configuring Luiss institutional accounts (Keyless, email, app) and providing technical assistance on the use of all digital teaching tools (Webex, Web Self Service, class schedule consultation, booking systems for access to Luiss spaces and services).

The EDU Office provides information on the Luiss educational model and, in particular, is available to provide useful information on the Fully Enquiry-Based Model and its application regarding teaching and assessment methods and attendance rules.
E-Learning
The E-Learning team is available to provide information on the Luiss Learn digital teaching platform.
ENGAGE.EU
The staff at the desk will introduce you to the ENGAGE.EU network and, in particular, the mobility opportunities and various projects organized by the Alliance.
Buddy Program
At their dedicated desk, the Buddies will introduce themselves to the freshmen and provide an overview of the orientation and support activities they oversee, to which students can turn throughout the academic year.
IDO
The desk managed by the International Development Office will promote awareness of exchange and international mobility programs, including: Double Degrees and Structured Partnerships, LLMs (Master of Laws), QTEM (Quantitative Techniques for Economics & Management), BI-Luiss Joint MSs in Marketing.
